Lost Loves

The series finale is just a few episodes away~ so to begin my commemoration of the most awesome show on television i have gathered a list of my favorite "Lost Loves"

Sun & Jin
Photobucket
They are two lovers who were able to wed, but at the ultimate cost of happiness. Through out the series~ you see not only the neglected and abused wife Sun, but the trampled on, insecure, and helpless Jin. The side of the abuser is shown and sympathy is generated for this seemingly unlikable character.

Kate & Sawyer

The love started out very Love/Hate, much like the viewers opinion of the characters. Most hated Sawyer and loved Kate, but as with Sun and Jin~ the series was able to show the emotional depth of the "smart ass criminal" Sawyer, and the selfishness and not very "girl next door" behavior of Kate. Most viewers love them both now and are eagerly waiting to see how this romance ends up.

Desmond & Penny
Photobucket
The classic tale of daddy hates my boyfriend, with a dash of murder and side of creepy Whitmore. These two are in a constant struggle to be together, and even when they are finally re-united, ultimately they are torn apart again. Something tells us that somehow Desmond and Penny will always be together though!

Charlie & Claire
Photobucket
Why can't Claire see that Charlie is just trying to help!! is what i spent most of my time screaming at the television. Poor drug addicted Charlie is just misunderstood. Poor Claire has been drugged ,and someones trying to kill her baby. This was a wrecked train we loved to be on!

Kate & Jack

Kate didn't always have the hots for Sawyer, at one time... she was drooling over Dr. Jack Shepard. This dictionary "good guy" tugged at our heart strings with his sensitivity, and had us squeeling at his confident leadership abilities. Even though the fire has died down, there are still some hoping that with Sawyers recurrent coldness, perhaps Kate will end up with the good guy after all.

Sayid & Shannon
Photobucket
We all hated her. She was snobby, insensitive, and blonde. Sayid was proving to be a most beloved character with his impressive military skills and reliability. When these two hooked up, we were all shocked..(and relieved that she was AT LEAST keeping OUTSIDE of the family *wink* *wink*)

Hurley & Libby
Photobucket
Possibly the most genuine guy on the island (who happens to be slightly insane) meets another former psychopath and plan a date on a secluded beach. We all cheered for them and were just happy to see Hurley get his first, and unfortunately only girlfriend.

Sawyer & Juliet
Photobucket
The only way these two would have ended up together was via-time travel seclusion.
So when that happened most lost viewers, were ...lost.
The chemistry just wasn't right between these two, and though we have learned that Sawyer did infact give some of his heart to Juliet, and that Juliet did infact love Sawyer, we just can't get away from seeing this relationship of convenience a step below his relationship with Kate.

Sayid & Nadia
Photobucket
Women drive men crazy, and in this case drive men to do alot of things he shouldn't freaking do! Sayid is a little bit of an obsessive lover, which really works against someone whose love interests always end up in a body bag, or left to rot on an island. Cursed? Unlucky? Karma? Whatever the case, you DO NOT want to be Sayid's lover.

Faraday & Charlotte
Photobucket
The most indulgent part of this relationship is it's inevitable loss. Just as we learn the intensity of Faraday's feelings for Charlotte, she is ripped away from him. We cried with Faraday and wished we could have seen more from this lost love.
